About PrinTrade
Every 3D printer can be a small workshop
PrinTrade is a marketplace that connects the people who own 3D printers with the people who need printed objects — ready-made pieces, replacement parts, gifts, or something designed only for them.
Thousands of printers sit idle most of the day, while people looking for a custom part don't know who could make it. We built PrinTrade to close that gap: one place where makers show what they print, buyers find it by material, colour, size and print time, and anyone can ask for something that doesn't exist yet.
What PrinTrade does
A marketplace for finished prints
Makers list what they print with real details — material, colours, dimensions, print time — so buyers can compare like for like and order with confidence.
Custom projects
Describe what you need, add photos, and makers send you offers with a price and an execution time. You choose, you talk directly, the maker delivers.
Makers near you
Orders go to independent makers, often close to home: shorter delivery, direct contact, and money that stays with the people doing the work.

PrinTrade is an independent project, designed and built by two developers.

Full stack developer with an enterprise Java background and more than 13 years in software, across five companies in Romania, Austria and Italy. He has worked in banking, insurance and logistics, and today builds the APIs and integrations that connect business systems — from banking platforms to warehouse operations.
At PrinTrade: had the idea, leads the product and built the platform — the marketplace, orders, custom projects and the API behind them.

He came to software from logistics and transportation and brings the same habits to his code: reliability, ownership and delivering on time. He also ships his own products end to end — the latest is CommunityBuilds, a community app for car enthusiasts, live on the App Store and the web.
At PrinTrade: built the light and dark theme, the colour palette and the English, Romanian and Italian versions of the site.
